I'm a patient recovering from rectal cancer. I've recently had my last surgery and been given NED status. I've just been to see the oncologist and am participating in the ASCOLT clinical trial. I'm 38 and have a 19 month old daughter. I'm amazed that I'm still alive and love the idea that a part of me can be a permanent part of the hospital.
