My relationship to Royal Hobart Hospital
/ Why I’m here today
I am a parent of Sophie Ikin whom has been unwell for 6 weeks. We have so far spent 10 nights in hospital to get the pain under control and to find out why she has been in so much pain.
What I love about the RHH Community
/ or hope for it
The nurses and doctors, orderlies, aides, and kitchen staff are friendly and all work together to ease your concerns, help you be as comfortable as possible, and feel valued and validated. I would like to see that there is more parent support for long term patients.
Something I’m personally hoping for right now
For people to think before they speak - equalling a form of empathy
